Questa foto della Galassia di Andromeda è stata scattata il 20 settembre 1993 da Goraiolo (PT) al fuoco diretto di un telescopio Newton 150 mm F:6.7 su montatura Vixen SP-DX. L'esposizione, su pellicola Kodak TP2415 ipersensibilizzata per 17 ore in idrogeno, è stata di 30 minuti con inseguimento effettuato mediante guida fuori asse Lumicon e reticolo illuminato Meade 12 mm. Successivamente la fotografia è stata stampata e scannerizzata, per essere poi processata mediante applicazione di uno stretching e maschera sfocata. This photo of the Andromeda Galaxy was taken on september 20, 19933 from Goraiolo, in Italy, near Pistoia, at the prime focus of a Newton telescope (150 mm F:6.7) using a Vixen SP-DX mount. I exposed the hypered film Kodak TP2415 (using hydrogen for 17 hours) for 30 minutes with a off-axis Lumicon guide and illuminated reticle eyepiece Meade 12mm. Then I printed the film, scanned it, and processed the file with a stretching and an unsharp mask.
