Questa foto della nebulosa Granchio (M 1 o NGC 1952) nel Toro è stata scattata il 6 gennaio 2007 da Arcidosso (GR) al fuoco diretto di un telescopio Vixen R200SS (200 mm F:4) su montatura EQ6 + Vixen Skysensor 2000PC. La foto è la somma di 24 esposizioni da 2.5 minuti cadauna, con una fotocamera digitale Canon Eos 300D con filtro modificato, settato a 800 ISO, che sono state effettuate con inseguimento mediante rifrattore 102/500 in parallelo e autoguida SBIG ST4. La foto risente della scarsa altezza della nebulosa al momento dello scatto (pochi giorni dopo la Luna Piena) e della velatura del cielo. Successivamente i frames sono stati sommati con Registar, e processate mediante compositazione, applicazione di un filtro ddp uno stretching, maschera sfocata, bilanciamento dei colori e riduzione del rumore. This photo of the Crab nebula (also known as M1 or NGC 1952) in Taurus, was taken on the evening of january 6, 2007 from Arcidosso, near Grosseto, in Italy, at the prime focus of a newtonian telescope Vixen R200SS (200 mm diameter F:4) on a EQ6 mount with Vixen Skysensor 2000 PC. The photo is the sum of 24 frames, each of 2.5 minutes, with a Dslr camera Canon Eos 300D Rebel (filter modified), exposed at 400 ISO, taken with a Sbig ST4 autoguide on a refractor 102/500. The low quality of the photo due to the low altitude over the horizons of the nebula (I took the photo few days past Full Moon) and the skyglow. Then I summed the frames with Registar, joined together, and processed the files, using a ddp filter, a stretching, an unsharp mask, a color balance and, last, a noise reduction.
