Questa foto dell'insieme delle nebulose presso Zeta Orionis (Alnitak) e cioè la nebulosa Testa di Cavallo, la nebulosa Fiamma e le nebulose IC434 e NGC 2023 è stata scattata il 23 dicembre 2006 da Arcidosso (GR) al fuoco diretto di un telescopio Vixen R200SS (200 mm F:4) su montatura EQ6 + Vixen Skysensor 2000PC. La foto è la somma delle migliori 28 esposizioni da 5 minuti cadauna su 44, con una fotocamera digitale Canon Eos 300D con filtro modificato, settato a 400 ISO, che sono state effettuate con inseguimento mediante rifrattore 102/500 in parallelo e autoguida SBIG ST4. Successivamente i frames sono stati sommati con Registar, e processate mediante compositazione, applicazione di un filtro ddp uno stretching, maschera sfocata, bilanciamento dei colori e riduzione del rumore. This photo of the complex of nebulas near Zeta Orionis (Alnitak), that is to say the Horse Haed nebula B33, the Flame nebula NGC 2024 and the related ones IC 434 and NGC 2023, was taken on the night of december 23, 2006 from Arcidosso, near Grosseto, in Italy, at the prime focus of a newtonian telescope Vixen R200SS (200 mm diameter F:4) on a EQ6 mount with Vixen Skysensor 2000 PC. The photo is the sum of the best 28 of 44 frames, each of 5 minutes, with a Dslr camera Canon Eos 300D Rebel (filter modified), exposed at 400 ISO, taken with a Sbig ST4 autoguide on a refractor 102/500. Then I summed the frames with Registar, joined together, and processed the files, using a ddp filter, a stretching, an unsharp mask, a color balance and, last, a noise reduction.
