Questa foto della nebulosa planetaria NGC 7662 (Blue Snowball) in Andromeda è stata scattata il 13 agosto 2006 da Arcidosso (GR) al fuoco diretto di un telescopio Celestron C 9 1/4 su montatura EQ6 con Vixen Skysensor 2000 PC. L'esposizione è la somma di 89 frames da 25 secondi ciascuno con la Canon EOS300D settata a 400 ISO, è stata effettuata con pose non guidate. Successivamente i frames sono stati sommati con Maxim, e processati prima con il medesimo software e successivamente con Photoshop mediante applicazione di una deconvoluzione Lucy Richardson e di una maschera sfocata. Nella foto, in basso a sinistra, si può vedere la nebulosa con evidenziati i lobi esterni mediante applicazione di un filtro LR con maggiore aggressività. This photo of the planetary nebula NGC 7662 (Blue Snowball) in Andromeda was taken on august 13th, 2006 from Arcidosso, in Italy, near Grosseto, at the prime focus of a Celestron C 9 1/4 telescope using a Syntha Eq6 mount with a Vixen Skysensor 2000 PC unguided. The photo is the sum of 89 frames of 25 seconds using a Canon Eos 300D Digital Rebel camera at 400 ISO. Then I summed the frames with Maxim, and processed the file with Maxim and then Photoshop with a Lucy-Richardson deconvolution and then an unsharp mask. At the bottom left of the photo you can see the nebula with the edges enhanced with an harder deconvolution.
