Questa foto della galassia M90 e di varie sue compagne è stata scattata il 07 maggio 2011 da Arcidosso (GR) al fuoco diretto di un telescopio Takahashi TSA 102 ridotto a f/6.3 su montatura Avalon LineAr con Skyscan.
L'esposizione è la somma di 14 frames da 10 minuti ciascuno con la Canon EOS 40D modificata settata a 800 ISO, è stata effettuata con autoguida Atik 16 IC e rifrattore 120/600 in parallelo.
Successivamente i frames sono stati calibrati con Deep Sky Stacker (24 dark, 31 flat, 31 dark dei flat e 31 bias), sommati con Registar, ed elaborati con Photoshop, separatamente la galassia e le stelle, mediante applicazione di uno stretching, maschera sfocata e bilanciamento dei colori. Poi sono state riunite le due immagini insieme.
This photo of the M90 galaxy and other neighbours was taken on may 07, 2011 from Arcidosso, in Italy, near Grosseto, at the prime focus of a Takahashi Tsa 102 telescope reduced at f/6.3 using a Avalon LineAr mount with Skyscan.
The photo is the sum of 14 frames of 10 minutes using a Canon Eos 40D Digital modified camera at 800 ISO and they were taken with an Atik 16 IC autoguide on a small refractor 120/600.
Then I calibrated the files with Deep Sky Stacker using 24 dark, 31 flat, 31 dark of flat, 31 bias, summed them with Registar, divide the stars from the galaxy, and processed the files in Photoshop with a stretching, an unsharp mask and, last, a color balance. At last I joined the two pics together.
