Questa foto dell'ammasso doppio NGC 869 e NGC 884 in Perseo è stata scattata il 13 agosto 2008 da Arcidosso (GR) al fuoco diretto di un telescopio Geoptik 200 mm F:4 su montatura Gemini G41 Obs con FS2. L'esposizione è la somma di 15 frames da 8 minuti ciascuno ripresi con la Canon EOS 300D settata a 400 ISO ed è stata effettuata con autoguida SBIG ST-4 e  rifrattore 120/600 in parallelo. Successivamente i frames sono stati allineati con Deep Sky Stacker, sommati con Registar e processati mediante applicazione di uno stretching, maschera sfocata, bilanciamento dei colori.. This photo of the double open cluster NGC 869 and NGC 884  in Perseus was taken on august 13, 2008 from Arcidosso, in Italy, near Grosseto, at the prime focus of a Geoptik telescope (200 mm F:4) using a Gemini G41 obs. mount with FS2 controller. The photo is the sum of 15 frames of 8 minutes taken using a Canon Eos 300D Digital camera at 400 ISO and they were taken with a SBIG ST-4 autoguide on a small refractor 120/600. Then I stacked the frames with Deep Sky Stacker, summed them with Registar, and processed the file with a stretching, an unsharp mask, a color balance.
